Supported living services

Our supported living services provide innovative and person-centred support enabling people with autism, learning disabilities, mental health illnesses and challenging behaviours to live as independently as possible within their own homes and in the local community.

The support provided is person-centred and specifically tailored to meet every unique need, underpinned by our philosophy that every individual has the right to live the life they choose for themselves.

Our specialist services

‘Supporting You’ is the name for our specialist supported living services and is registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC), Care Inspectorate (CI) and Care and Social Services Inspectorate Wales (CSSIW), operating across England, Scotland and Wales. Individually tailored support

Everything we do at Priory Adult Care (formerly Craegmoor and Amore Care) is guided by the people who use our services, so the support we offer through ‘Supporting You’ is completely dependent on the needs of each individual.

Our enthusiastic and highly trained staff team will ensure right from the beginning that you will know what we will do to support the person, which can include helping with setting up a home and gaining a tenancy. In order to achieve the best possible outcomes, we also work in close partnership with health and social care professionals, housing, education and vocational training providers and employers.

Developing daily living skills

At Priory Adult Care, we support all aspects of daily life to develop the skills required to live more independently. This includes:

  • Personal care
  • Healthy eating
  • Taking medication
  • Maintaining the home
  • Paying bills and budgeting
  • Maintaining tenancies
  • Support with benefits
  • Employment and further education
  • Participating in community-based activities

Care pathways

The individuals we support can progress through our care pathways, developing their levels of independence, and where appropriate, transfer seamlessly to a supported living model. ‘Supporting You’ works alongside education, healthcare and residential services to ensure that the support is just right for the individual.
