Respite care homes and services

Many of our Priory Adult Care (formerly Craegmoor and Amore Care) homes offer short term care services (also known as respite) for people who require a short stay in a residential or nursing home.

We understand that people need a break from caring for a loved one. Our short term care services allow carers the time to recharge their batteries, whilst offering their loved ones a temporary retreat with the peace of mind of 24-hour care.

Short-term care breaks

Our homes offer short term care breaks throughout the year. These are ideal for when you’re planning your next holiday or if you just need a well-earned rest.

The respite care services we provide allows those in need and their carers to have a break, whilst ensuring quality care and support is provided in a comfortable environment. Respite can be available for people needing different levels of care, from residential to nursing care.

We offer a free "taster day" to allow you and your loved one an opportunity to come in and experience our range of services and caring environment.
