The Priory has today merged its two adult care divisions, Craegmoor and Amore Care, to create Priory Adult Care, one of the UK’s leading providers of specialist adult care.
Craegmoor was previously part of the Priory Group of Companies and was a leading national provider of specialist community based support and enablement services for people who have individual needs associated with a learning disability, autism, Asperger syndrome, or a mental health condition. All Craegmoor services have transferred to Priory's new Adult Care Division.
Amore Care was also previously part of the Priory Group of Companies, and offers residential, nursing and dementia care to older people with varying levels of need, allowing all residents to have their own personal care plan, in line with their individual needs and wishes. All Amore care services are now part of the Priory's Adult Care Division.
The new Priory Adult Care division has more than 230 care homes across the country with over 4,500 beds.
