Priory Adult Care (formerly Amore Care), part of the Priory Group of companies has published their first annual Quality Account, which provides a summary of the achievements of the division during 2012-13 and outlines their priorities for quality improvement during 2013-14.
Priory Adult Care offers residential, nursing and dementia care to older people with varying levels of need. We aim to enhance quality of life by enabling people in our care to make informed choices about their daily life. We actively engage with residents and relatives, encouraging regular feedback and ensuring the people in our care are as independent as possible. Our focus is always on patient safety, clinical effectiveness and the experience of our residents.
Achievement of our goals is clearly demonstrated within the dementia care service where 98% of relatives are satisfied all care needs are met and additionally 96% feel nutritional needs are met within our homes.
The Priory Group fosters an open and transparent culture that promotes evidence-based practice, continuous learning and improvement. We aspire to be world class and a beacon of good practice for other health and social care providers.
