The way that we provide care and support to our residents is crucial in enhancing their sense of worth, purpose, value and wellbeing. This partnership is an exciting chapter in Amore’s journey in working toward our commitment to our residents and the wider issues relating to those people living with dementia”
The Research Ready Care Home Network brings together care home staff, residents and researchers to facilitate the delivery of research. This will improve the quality of life, treatments and care of people with dementia and other diseases affecting older people.
Adam Smith, DeNDRoN Programme Manager said “We are delighted to be working with Priory Adult Care (formerly Amore Care), this partnership will provide improved access to research, and help ensure that the Government’s recent investment into care home research can be delivered effectively, for the benefit of this charitable organisation and its residents. Around 280,000 people with dementia live in care homes, and we want to ensure that all those residents have an equal opportunity to participate, and to ensure that research addresses everyone’s needs.”
