The Priory Group is creating around 25 jobs in Worcestershire following investment in a new specialist healthcare service.
Hamilton House in Leigh Sinton will provide care for up to six adults with autism. It is a former residential house, which is being refurbished to ensure the needs of the new client group can be met. It will offer five en-suite single bedrooms and a single-bedroomed flat.
The home will be managed by newly-appointed Kirsti Griffin. Kirsti, who holds the Registered Managers Award, brings experience of working with Autism to the position. She will be supported by a new multi-disciplinary staff team.
Hamilton House will be a highly-staffed residential facility giving quality care and support.
Kirsti said: “Absolutely everything we do at Priory Group is guided by the people who use our services, their personal needs and the choices they wish to make.
Our innovative approach to care has led to the appointment of specialist autism advisors to ensure our care pathways reflect the very best value for both the people we care for and those who commission our services.
“Only by fully understanding every person's unique needs can we begin to support them effectively and help them fulfill their potential and achieve their goals.
“Everyone we support at Hamilton House will have their own unique person-centred plan. Each plan is designed to support an individual's personal choices and aspirations and focuses on what is needed to make that happen and achieve the best possible outcome.”
