A care home in Malvern, Hamilton House, continues to be rated as 'good' overall, following a recent inspection, for the quality of care it provides. It is now rated as 'good' in all assessment areas. Hamilton House supports people with mental health requirements, autism and learning disabilities.
In the report from the independent health and social care regulator, the Care Quality Commission (CQC), 
inspectors said residents "gave a positive response when we asked about staff being kind towards them. A further person gave us the thumbs up and nodded their head when we asked if staff were kind".
Inspectors saw "staff were kind and caring towards people they cared for. We saw people smile at staff when they spoke with them. Staff interacted with people in a natural way".
Residents take part in activities they enjoy and have the opportunity to raise any suggestions or ideas they have in monthly 'Your Voice' meetings.
Peter Griffith, Registered Manager at Hamilton House, said, "This is excellent news for us. We will keep working hard to ensure that we do the best we possibly can for the people we support."
