Addison Court care home in Accrington has benefitted from a major refurbishment.

In addition to complete redecoration, the home has also seen new flooring, soft furnishings and furniture installed throughout, including in the bedrooms, public lounges and dining rooms.

The home will show off its new look at an open day to be held on Thursday 31st October. Members of the public are welcome to visit the home to view the facilities.

Priory Adult Care (formerly Amore Care) offers residential, nursing and dementia care to older people with varying levels of need. Addison Court is a purpose-built care home based on Addison Street, which provides care for up to 48 older people, including those with dementia.

Addison Court home manager Anne-Marie Potter said: “The environment of a care home is so important to the wellbeing of the residents. The residents love their new look home and, thanks to the professional, kind and courteous workmen, coped very well with the disruption a refurbishment can cause.
