The staff are my friends as well”.  A resident’s relative said, “The staff have always been a pleasure”. Another relative considered Cherrywood House to be “really good” for their family member.

Inspectors said, “It was clear there were good relationships between people and staff. People were at ease with staff and there was a relaxed atmosphere in the service when staff engaged with people.” They went onto say, “staff demonstrated a very good understanding of people’s care and support needs”.

The CQC said, “People were encouraged to undertake activities and access the wider community”. Some residents regularly go shopping and take buses into nearby towns.
