A care home in Bamber Bridge, The Spinney, has been rated 'good' overall and in all categories by the CQC.
In the report, following their inspection, the CQC said they saw staff "interacting with people in a kind, patient and sensitive way" and that people living at the home were "relaxed and comfortable".
A resident's relative said, "The staff are caring. My relative is happy here. I can tell by the way he reacts to staff". Another relative said, "the staff are really caring, I've got real peace of mind that they're living in such a lovely place".
Some residents take trips to the library, gym and go horse riding. A resident's relative told inspectors that their family member's "social life is good. There are lots of activities. He likes walks and meals out".
The Spinney supports adults with autism and learning disabilities. It is located in Bamber Bridge, Preston, Lancashire.
Matt Connell, Registered Manager, said: "We are all so happy with this report. We always do the best we can for the people we support, and it is pleasing that the CQC recognise all our efforts."
