Woodhouse Cottage (formerly part of Craegmoor) provides support for six adult males with learning disabilities and autism. Our aim is to assist and enable individuals to reach their goals and aspirations whilst maximising people living as independently as possible.
Our approach to care
At Woodhouse Cottage, our philosophy is to promote independence, choice, dignity, empowerment, respect and opportunities and to support everyone to fulfil their potential.
We have a friendly and highly committed staff team, who provide support that is tailored to the needs of each person. We can offer short or long term stays, and can work to the basis of 1:1 support if required.
We liaise with individuals, families, social services and purchasing authorities to support Person Centred Planning and ensure that full account is taken of the social, emotional, cultural and spiritual needs of everyone.
“I like it here, I can do the things I want. Thank you for everything you have done for me.”
