Weir End House
Weir End House (formerly part of Craegmoor) provides support for individuals who have learning disabilities, mental health problems and autism. Our service is able to provide individuals with a safe and homely environment, where we are focused on building positive outcomes for everyone.
Our approach to care
We believe it is important for individuals to maintain involvement with the local community and it is our aim to enable people to live as independently as possible in the future. People at the service work very closely with the local community and are involved in various groups and are members of different committees.
Weir End House promotes Priory Adult Care’s communication strategy, "Your Voice". We encourage people to provide their feedback and views on the support they receive – and they are able to do this through their preferred method of communication. We hold regular meetings where individuals can voice their opinions, as well as speaking on behalf of others.
“It is so nice here. I really like sitting in the garden which is beautiful.”
