Vaughan House has a pleasant atmosphere where the individuals we support feel safe and comfortable. Our home is spread over four floors, with a total of 10 bedrooms.
Outside we have a big garden, which is used by individuals who enjoy digging or potting up. Back inside the service we have a lounge, dining room and kitchen – all on the ground floor.
A range of activities
At Vaughan House, we provide daily workshops which are tailored to help people to become more independent and build their confidence.
Some of the people living at Vaughan House go to work during the day or attend college, and others belong to clubs and like to socialize or go out and dance. Some people just like to spend some quality time with those they care about.
At Vaughan House it is important for us to understand the people we support, the way they think and the things they dream of achieving. This helps us support individuals in choosing suitable activities to fill their weekly schedule.
We are centrally placed and only a short distance away from the train station, park, pubs and shopping facilities. Further afield are National Heritage sites and wildlife parks, and London is not too far away by train. Luton boasts a university and two colleges so there is plenty of choice for individuals living at Vaughan House.
