We are also able to care for individuals who have dual diagnosis. We support and encourage people living at Seabreezes to make choices about all aspects of their lives, from the support they receive to the design of their bedroom.
Our approach to support
At Seabreezes, our dedicated staff team are here to support people 24 hours a day. People are able to express what level of support they require through their own person-centred plan. The plans are tailored to suit individual needs and enable all individuals to make their own choices about how they would like to be supported to achieve their targets, goals and future aspirations.
Seabreezes promotes Priory Adult Care’s communication strategy, "Your Voice", which encourages individuals, based on their preferred method of communication, to voice their views about the care and support they receive. Monthly meetings are held where individuals are able to represent the views and voices of others living at Seabreezes. Those living at Seabreezes are encouraged to raise issues and to discuss ideas at monthly ‘Your Voice’ meetings. At these meetings, individuals can influence how Seabreezes operates on a day-to-day basis. Topics of discussion can include activity planning, menus and refurbishment plans. Individuals who do not wish to take part in these meetings are represented in different ways, to ensure that everybody’s voice is heard.
