Living at Priory Radstock

We are located in Radstock, Somerset, nestled on the edge of the Mendips, 9 miles South West of Bath and 8 miles North West of Frome.

Radstock has access to spectacular routes for both walking and cycling with quiet country lanes and a beautiful countryside with a wide range of amenities nearby. The service is ideally located for a safe, structured step down towards greater independence.

Our facilities

The Priory Radstock consists of three houses with spacious communal areas for people to relax and socialise. The three properties are:

Rookery House

Rookery House has 11 bedrooms with en-suites and a mixture of flexible accommodation. Some rooms are like mini-flats with kitchenettes and a lounge area. There is a lounge, as well as a conservatory and a bright communal area with a pool table. The kitchen is large and fully equipped.

This service would suit individuals who require higher level of care and support 24/7 with staff available throughout the day and night. The multidisciplinary team meet at Rookery House twice a month and the service manager and main office are located on site.

The Coach House

The Coach House is situated adjacent to Rookery House and consists of three bedrooms, a communal lounge and a kitchen. Staff support is available throughout the day and night. In this smaller environment, the people we support can take greater responsibility for the daily running of the house, including shopping and budgeting.

The Coach House is suitable for individuals who continue to need staff support in large areas of their daily activities but who are building up their independence skills.

Redfield Road House

Redfield Road House is a large 4 bedroom property with an attached 1/2 bedroom flat. The service provides an opportunity for the people we support to live within close walking distance to the local high street and live as independently as they wish.

Staff are on hand throughout the day and night for support when needed.
