Parc Wern Care Home

Parc Wern (formerly part of Amore Care) is a purpose-built care home designed for older people requiring dementia nursing and general nursing care.

Situated in Penybanc, Ammanford, the home offers a modern and supportive environment with comfortable lounge areas and an enclosed central courtyard. Our dedicated team ensure we meet the resident’s individual care and social needs.

The home is conveniently located in the semi-rural area of Penybanc and provides residents with a lovely garden to enjoy a peaceful environment. From its elevated position it also enjoys extensive views of the surrounding countryside and mountains.

The friendly and welcoming decor helps residents feel at home. There is an open door visiting policy and families and friends are always welcome.

Our activities co-ordinators tailor the activities on a daily basis to meet the needs of our residents. All are encouraged to share their life stories to create memory boxes and enhance person-centred care and support.

Residents can also go on our regular trips to shops, garden centres, restaurants, café’s, the local park and places further afield.
