Homeleigh Farm offers a variety of activities centred around individual needs. We are currently supporting people to achieve their set goals, which include going to theme parks and on holiday, and we are passionate about facilitating active support and involving people in a variety of tasks.
The people who live here have varied interests and Homeleigh Farm aims to meet their needs and expectations. There are community-based activities to get involved with, which include:
- Horse riding
- Socialising at the local pub
- Visiting the local library
Homeleigh Farm is located approximately one mile from the small town of Lydd. Lydd has a handful of shops, a library and several pubs. Dungeness and the bird sanctuary are also close by. The famous Hythe and New Romney light railway is in Dungeness, along with two lighthouses.
Homeleigh Farm is a large bungalow set in four acres of grounds. Each person has their own bedroom that they have personalised to their own taste. This is something that we encourage so that people feel comfortable and safe in their surroundings.
Homeleigh Farm offers a range of large communal areas including:
- TV room
- Separate lounge
- Dining room
- Open plan kitchen
- A large garden with a vegetable area, which residents help to maintain
