Hamilton House

At Hamilton House we provide dedicated specialist support for people with autism and learning disabilities. We are passionate about, and committed to empowering individuals to become more independent in everyday life.

Hamilton House is a large, friendly and welcoming home where we recognise the importance of choice and help people to improve communication and daily living skills focusing on building positive outcomes for everyone.

Our approach to support

The people we support at Hamilton House have a person-centred plan which shapes the level of assistance provided; these are created on an individual basis with input from the individual, their family and their key worker. Each person-centred plan is regularly reviewed to ensure that everyone’s personal objectives are being met, with a focus on promoting independence and encouraging participation in paid employment, local volunteering opportunities and community groups.

Monthly meetings also take place to gain continued understanding of each individual's preferences, and to also provide feedback on the direction in which they see Hamilton House heading.
