Grafton Manor is a 19-bedded residential service, which supports individuals with an acquired brain injury (ABI), including traumatic brain injury (TBI) and progressive neurological conditions (PNCs). The home is located semi-rurally, in the village of Grafton Regis, close to Northampton.
We can manage more acute needs including hoisting and PEG feeding, and have on-site nursing input to support our residents with their physical needs.
Our approach
The care provided by the dedicated staff team at Grafton Manor is aimed at helping people who have experienced behavioural and physical changes as a consequence of brain injury, to ensure that they can live as full a life as possible.
We provide person-centred care which is uniquely tailored to the individual’s needs and preferences. Everyone who lives at Grafton Manor has a person-centred plan, designed with input from each resident, their family members, social workers and other professionals. Our rigorous care plans enable our team to meet the needs of every resident and support them to achieve positive outcomes.
Our main focus at Grafton Manor is to:
- Maximise individual choice and autonomy
- Promote empowerment and community inclusion
- Enable the resident to obtain a level of independence that suits their needs and goals
We aim to ensure the people we support live a happy and fulfilled life. This may include support to move on to live independently in the community, whether this is in one of our supported living services or in their own home without requiring specialist support.
