Fieldside View, Lydd
Fieldside View in Lydd is a specialist residential service supporting five adults with learning disabilities, autism, PICA and complex needs. At Fieldside View, we deliver positive behaviour support (PBS) and provide a 24 hour service. Wherever possible, we encourage and support people to live as independently as they can and as a team we are focused on building positive outcomes for the people we support.
Our approach to support
The people residing at Fieldside View are encouraged and actively involved in designing their own person-centred plan, with full assistance from staff. The plans are tailored to suit individual needs and provide the correct level of support required. They also enable all individuals to make their own choices about the nature of support they receive. We encourage and assist everyone at Fieldside View to recognise and identify their targets, goals and aspirations and how they would like to go about achieving them.
Fieldside View promotes Priory Adult Care’s communication strategy, "Your Voice", which encourages individuals, based on their preferred method of communication, the opportunity and choice to voice their views and opinions about the care and support they receive.
Introducing our self-contained flats for adults with complex needs
Across Fieldside View and our other site called Peacock House in Lydd, we have self-contained flats which are ideal for adults who may not be quite ready for supported living and like to have the surrounding of a residential setting, where staff are available 24/7. Please find below a recent video showcasing one of the flats.
“I like living here, it is better than my old home and the staff are really friendly and supportive.”
