Formerly a Methodist Chapel, Daisy Vale House has a warm and homely environment, and a friendly atmosphere.
We encourage each individual living here to personalise their bedroom in line with their preferences. All of the rooms throughout Daisy Vale House are tastefully decorated.
There is a garden to the front and the back of the house, with a patio area for garden furniture. Our outdoor space is commonly used in the summer months by people who enjoy socialising at our barbecues.
A wide range of activities
There are a wide range of activities to get involved with at Daisy Vale House. With staff support, everyone living here chooses and plans which activities they would like to do, such as: horse riding, swimming, bowling, shopping, going out for meals, attending discos and music nights.
People staying at Daisy Vale House also lend a hand with the day-to-day running of the property, which includes cleaning, cooking and choosing menus.
Daisy Vale House is located in Thorpe; a small village on the outskirts of Wakefield. There is a good bus service to Wakefield, Leeds and Morley, which are convenient for shopping, meals out, going to the cinema or theatre and swimming. The M1 and M62 motorways are two miles away.
