Living at Cherrywood House

The Cherrywood House staff team encourage and support people to access a range of day opportunities, local colleges and employment.

We support and encourage people to participate in activities that promote life skills and independence; from cooking, cleaning and shopping, to making appointments, managing finances and attending work placements. In the evenings some people like to visit the pub, enjoy a meal out or watch a show at the theatre.

Cherrywood House is situated on the edge of Weston-super-Mare. It is a short walk away from the woods that lead to the beach and a short bus ride to the town of Weston Super Mare. There, most of the high street stores can be found; alongside a theatre, cinemas, a bowling centre, museums, cafes and restaurants. Colleges and sports centres are also close by.

There is easy access to the railway station; Bristol is just over an hour away, other nearby places include Burnham-on-Sea, Taunton and Devon.
