Brunswick House

Brunswick House is five-bedded purpose designed service for adults who may have had hospital stays, including secure care, and who require intensive behavioural support. This residential service supports adults with learning/intellectual disabilities, autism, mental health issues and complex behaviours.

We believe that the environment is as important as the therapy provided. Our services include:

• A homely environment with 5 en-suite bedrooms
• Communal activity areas including a garden and dining room
• Close access to the local community and amenities
• A wide range of community trips
• Support with communication needs
• Social functions for residents, their families and friends

Our approach to care

Residents have an individualised care programme and a dedicated key worker to support them through their care pathway. Therapeutic activities aim to build skills and independence and include:

• Cooking skills development
• Communication and discussion groups
• Individual budgeting plans
• Personal and environmental care support
• Vocational skills development
• Arts and crafts
• Social activities

A multidisciplinary team

Brunswick House is a place where residents are part of the team. We work together to build the confidence and skills to re-join a meaningful place in the community. Our multidisciplinary team is led by:
