Living at Blair House

Situated in a small village on the edge of Fens, Blair House enjoys the benefits of all the local amenities available within Lincolnshire whilst also having easy access to nearby coastal areas.

Blair House has two minibuses, one with a lift for wheelchair access. These buses can be used by the people we support to access various activities that they enjoy on a regular basis. We hold regular meetings so individuals can decide which activities they would like to try.

Activities

Our activities co-ordinator provides tailored activities two days a week where residents have access to community support services including health, social services, leisure, and educational facilities. We strive to ensure that the needs and wishes of all people are ascertained, respected, and met wherever possible including ethnic, religious, and cultural factors.

We offer 24/7 specialist nursing/residential care and are committed to providing just enough support to empower people to take control of their lives, and where possible, work towards a level of independence which fits with their skills, confidence and aspirations.

Our facilities

We have 27 bedrooms, some with en-suite facilities and one self-contained flat ideal for one-to-one assessment.

Blair House provides a nursing service with complex needs for people with learning disabilities, with experienced and knowledgeable staff.  At Blair House we aim to provide individuals with a safe, manageable, and comfortable environment.  With the support of our trained staff, we provide a level of support which assists people in maximising their physical, intellectual, and emotional potential as well as social capacity.

Blair House is set in private grounds with a large patio and lawned area. The accommodation is provided in four separate living areas.  The garden is an ideal place for individuals to develop and learn new skills as well as to sit and meet family or friends.
