Belmont Road
Belmont Road provides assessment and 24/7 specialist residential support for 13 adults living with a primary learning disability diagnosis but may present complex conditions. Some of our service users also have communication difficulties, a physical disability, or present behaviours that challenge, and predominately have dual diagnosis, as well as a range of other disabilities such as epilepsy and eating difficulties.
We do everything we can to improve the health and wellbeing of the people we support, and as a team we are focused on building positive outcomes for everyone.
Our approach to support:
At Belmont Road, we follow the Priory Adult Care vision of helping individuals to live as independently as possible, whilst providing just the right level of support. Our service offers a safe and caring environment where individuals can achieve goals and aspirations set out in their person-centred plan.
Each person we support at Belmont Road is encouraged to take an active interest in their care plan to ensure their needs are met and so staff can offer the right amount of support where necessary. At Belmont Road we can provide one-to-one psychological support where needed, as well as enabling individuals to access the skills and expertise of our multidisciplinary staff team.
Individuals living at Belmont Road are able to have their views heard through Priory Adult Care’s “Our Voice” initiative as well as contributing suggestions and feedback through regular meetings on-site.
“I like living at Belmont Road as I can go to Tennyson Lodge to see my friends.”
