People we support at Arbour Street like to help with meal planning, cooking, cleaning, activity planning, socialising and gardening on a regular basis. All individuals can attend work placements on a voluntary basis and particularly enjoy this independence.
We encourage people we care for to get involved with arranging the annual holiday and we hold planning session where everyone can offer suggestions about where we should visit. On a more regular basis we have day trips out to various places of interest with castles, museums and art exhibitions proving popular.
Arbour Street is close to Southport town centre and local amenities like shops, pubs, cinema and theatre. Local transport links are only minutes away on foot. The rail service means free travel to most of the places in the Merseyside area and access to all local ferries on the Mersey.a
Arbour House has two spacious lounges where people we care for can relax or take part in leisure activities. There is also a large garden which provides ideal outdoor space.
Each person living at Arbour House is supported in personalising their bedroom in line with their preferences and needs.
Our service also benefits from a shared mini bus which is used for regular outings.
