Anchor House

Based in Poole, Anchor House offers a residential service for people with physical disabilities and learning disabilities, who may present behaviours that can challenge. The site has been specially designed for people with complex needs in order to make the space as comfortable and welcoming as possible.

Our safe and caring environment enables individuals to live as independently as possible, whilst still accessing vital services and the support from members of staff.

Our approach to support

We are committed to providing just enough support to empower and encourage all individuals utilising our services to develop the skills they need to live as independently as possible. By using Person-centred plans, we help people to work towards a level of independence which fits with their skills, confidence and aspirations.

Everyone supported at Anchor House is able to provide feedback and make suggestions about the care and support they receive through Priory Adult Care’s "Our Voice” feedback initiative.
